Karen D. Hakim is an anointed and powerful woman of God. Chosen by God to minister to the needs of the people thru the gift of song and a power packed spoken word. Co-Pastor Karen is a native of Oklahoma, reared in Coweta, OK. She is the youngest of 10 children born to the late Milton and Mary Cade.
A 1987 graduate of Broken Arrow Public Schools, she has lived in Missouri and Texas. With the guidance of her parents she has been an active follower of Christ her entire life and received her initial love for the things of God, thru her membership of Jackson Grove Baptist Church and This Rock Christian Tabernacle, in Kansas City, MO.
Pastor Karen accepted her call( with some reluctance) and was ordained into the ministry in Feb. 2010.
Pastor Karen has her own unique sense of purpose for the ministry. Her no nonsense approach makes her a viable and coveted asset to the Shekinah Glory Praise and Worship Tabernacle Ministries. You will find her working with the children, youth and young adults, but her true calling comes to light as she takes a personal one on one approach with the women that God brings across her path.
As Pastor Karen ministers she utilizes her down to earth style to encourage and empower the women (and men)of God to reach their highest potential.
Pastor Karen helps to pack the punch of this dynamic duo as she works along side Pastor Khalil with grace and wisdom. |
